Hello there!

The Eastern Iowa Crochet Guild is the first registered chapter in the state of Iowa. Established September 2025, a small but mighty group started meeting in person to work to benefit our community - friends and family, local, regional, and nationally.

The chapter may have recently come into existance, but by no means does that mean we as crafters just started crafting. Whether you have never crocheted, crocheted for 6 months or 30 years, everyone is welcome. Even if you also participate in other fiber or craft hobbies. 😀

Before there was an Eastern Iowa Crochete Guild, there was and still is a Crochet and Knitting Group on Facebook where crocheters and other crafters can share their projects, ask for and get help from other crocheters and crafters as well as get together in person from others with the fiber community.

While this guild is crochet focused, we believe that all crafters are welcome, even if you knit, cross stitch, or do needlepoint during the crafting portion of our get togethers.
